It works…

I downloaded that app to test it for my laptop. I thought it don’t works, but after some minutes and technical problems it works. It’s like a normal XBox controller, but you need some training with this app to use it as an controller. The introduction is hide in this app. You should try this app! :)

A great idea in the making

Lets get realistic here, this is the -ONLY- xbox 360 controller available on iTunes, which means it is extremely marketable. That being said you also have a reputation to uphold with hundreds, thousands, maybe eventually millions of users willing to pay for this product. I think editing the layout is a great idea, it allows players to optimize gameplay. There are a few drawbacks you can totally fix here that will turn most 1-3 star reviews into 4-5 star reviews. I will now list some suggestions for you. 1: make the platform work off Bluetooth, going off a third party application creates a delay in response time. 2: add a vibration system for buttons, most players need to feel an interaction or else they will need to look down at the product which makes competitive gaming difficult. 3: fix current bugs and glitches. I too after buying the product found blank layouts, this was easily fixed by restarting the app. Overall i think the time you spent on this app so far was well spent, you have created a functional application, now expand on your project and get rich. 🤑

Changing my review...

My first review (which was well thought out and fair) has mysteriously disappeared... but that gives me the chance to update it. After using this app for some time I have to say it functions more as a novelty than an effective controller. Don’t expect to pick this up and play your emulators with any sort of accuracy at all. Even with a robust connection and a good phone I found that Sonic the Hedgehog spent more time jumping the wrong way into spikes, that he did grabbing rings. Even remapped to used the 3D Touch inputs as triggers, I found myself dying in Fallout 3 simply trying to walk around Megaton (nothing beats trying to turn left when the app decides to shoot a child of atom instead). My advice is to save yourself the time and frustration (not to mention the 3 bucks for the “premium” version) and just use a keyboard and mouse till you can get your hands on an actual controller. At lest you’ll know if you hit the space bar your character will jump instead of endlessly running into a wall...
